Tax Season Office hours are 9:00 a.m. until last daily appointment (usually 7:00-8:00 p.m.) Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. until last appointment (usually 3:00-4:00 p.m.) on Saturdays, February 1 through April 15th. During this ten week period we do not close for any Holidays.

After Tax-Season hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. We are closed on Fridays for field work. We also close on all Federal Holidays (April 16 - January 31). Our office is closed during the two week period that includes Christmas and New Years Day in order to upgrade and perform annual maintenance on our computer network for Tax Season.

With the majority of our clientele being in the Huntsville and Birmingham metropolitan areas, we maintain direct phone lines from those areas. In Huntsville call 534-6922. In Birmingham call 322-7452. Our local Arab telephone numbers are 586-4111, 586-4112, 586-4113 and 586-4114.

However, due to the ever increasing problem with spam, the possibility exists that a message may be inadvertently blocked or delayed by our system. We maintain our own mail server in house and do not not route any mail through any third parties.

When you telephone our office - You will get a real live person on the other end of the phone. You won't hear a recorded menu telling you to press numbers on your phone. We still answer the phone by saying "Bara Office Building" just because it's been done that way for fifty (50) years. Once an attendant answers the phone, if the person you are calling is unavailable, we will offer to transfer you to that persons private voice mail.

During hours when we are closed, you will not have the option of leaving a voice mail. This is because we don't have that automated answering module that asks you to press numbers on your phone.

If you are calling from a cell phone and loose your connection, please wait until you have a good signal again before redialing us.

If you are calling to schedule an appointment, please tell the attendant. If you ask for someone in the Tax or Accounting Departments, they will have to transfer you back to the Appointment Clerk or Receptionist.
